Blackwing - Pearl Graphite Pencils - Balanced

These Blackwing Pearl pencils feature a lustrous pearl white finish and black eraser, along with a balanced and smooth graphite core that is softer than the graphite found in the Palomino Blackwing 602 but firmer than the graphite found in the Palomino Blackwing. Made in Japan with FSC-certified cedarwood, it is amazingly smooth and beautiful. Palomino IS the world’s best pencil. The list of known Blackwing users includes John Steinbeck, Stephen Sondheim, and Chuck Jones, who proudly used Blackwings to create Bugs Bunny and countless other Looney Tunes characters. Now, Blackwings are assisting a new generation of writers, artists and musicians, including Grammy Award-winning Sugarland member Kristian Bush and ‘Ren and Stimpy’ creator Bob Camp.
